Quality of official statistics

The National Statistical Committee declares its commitment to the concept of quality in the Law on Official Statistics, where a special chapter is devoted to quality. In addition, the National Statistical Committee adopted the Quality declaration and the Quality policy. At a more detailed level, the NSC is regularly assessed for its use of the United Nations Quality Assurance Framework for Official Statistics (UN NQAF), and improvements are made based on recommendations of external experts. Statistical processes in the National Statistical Committee are carried out using the international Generic Statistical Business Process Model (GSBPM) and its specific descriptions for all subprocesses. The National Statistical Committee regularly produces metadata and quality reports based on the Single Integrated Metadata Structure (SIMS 2.0).
