Quality of official statistics
NSC states the commitment to quality in the national statistics act, which includes a dedicated chapter for quality. Additionally, NSC has made a quality declaration and quality policy. On more detailed level, NSC is regularly assessed for the use of UN NQAF quality assurance framework and improvements are carried out based on external expert's recommendations. Statistical processes of NSC are carried out with the use of international GSBPM process model and its specific descriptions for all subprocesses. NSC has also started to compile metadata and quality reports on the basis of SIMS structure.
