The 60th meeting of the Council of Heads of Statistical Offices of the CIS Member States was held in Bishkek

Under the Chairmanship of the Head of the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic Sultanov A., the 60th meeting of the Council of Heads of Statistical Offices of the CIS member states was held in Bishkek, September 5, 2019.

With words of greeting, the First Deputy Head of the Office of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Almaz Kenenbaev addressed the meeting participants.

This session addressed the issues of the 2020 round of censuses in the CIS countries, the work of the CIS Statistical Committee on organizing monitoring of SDG indicators in the CIS region, the implementation of the "Global Strategy for Improving Agricultural and Rural Statistics" in the CIS region, the draft statistical work program of the CIS Interstate Committee for 2020 year, as well as a report on the activities of the Council of Heads of Statistical Services of the Member States of the Commonwealth of Independent States and the work of the Interstate Statistical Skogen Committee of the CIS in 2018.
