National Statistical Committee planning to test mobile application

Pursuant to the Resolution of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic dated 23.10.2017, # 690 "On Preparing and Conducting the Population and Housing Census 2020 in the Kyrgyz Republic" and in order to prepare for the census, the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic is planning to test the mobile application for data collection and processing in electronic format from 18 to 27 November 2019, in Osh city. This event is held with the financial support of UNFPA and the World Bank.

To test this application, more than 200 census staff will be selected for temporary positions as population and housing census coordinators, instructors-auditor and enumerators. A five-day training will be conducted for these employees. It is planned to study issues related to the methodology of data collection and data processing, as well as to conduct practical training on working with the mobile application.
