The National Statistics Committee conducted seminars on the implementation of Quality Management System

In the cities of Osh and Bishkek, within the framework of the World Bank project “Modernization of tax administration and statistical system”, the National Statistical Committee held seminars for the heads of territorial statistics bodies “Implementation of the Quality Management System of Official statistics of the Kyrgyz Republic”, where the recently adopted "Declaration of the Quality of Official Statistics" was presented as well as and the "Policy for ensuring the quality management system of official statistics".

During the seminars, issues of the importance of quality management of official statistics were discussed and activities for the implementation of international standards for harmonization and optimization of the processes that will be applied in the National Statistical System: «Generic Statistical Busines Processes Model (GSBPM)» as well as «Generic Model for Statistical Office Organization (GAMSO)».

The seminars were carried out by the bilateral partner, international expert of GOPA Mr.Remy Proual, and the attendees were the employees of the National Statistics Committee and heads of territorial statistical bodies.
