National Statistical Committee conducts regular training seminar on the upcoming Population and Housing Census 2020 in electronic format

With the financial support of the World Bank, the National Statistical Committee is conducting a seminar for the staff of the state statistical bodies of Naryn, Issyk-Kul, Talas, Chui provinces and Bishkek city. The seminar "Preparation for the Population and Housing Census of the Kyrgyz Republic 2020 in electronic format" is being held from 21 to 23 October 2019. Earlier, in the period from 14 to 18 October this year, the first stage of the seminar was held in Osh for the staff of Batken, Osh, Jalal-Abad provinces and Osh city.

The seminar will discuss the content of electronic questionnaires, the procedure for filling in the census questionnaires of mobile application, as well as the main results of the pilot Population and Housing Census of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2019, which was held in certain areas of Chui and Issyk-Kul regions.
