Population and Housing Fund Census 2020 will be held in electronic format

In accordance with the task of the President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sooronbay Sharipovich Dzheenbekov on carrying out census of the population and housing of the Kyrgyz Republic 2020 in electronic format, the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic has developed a software of a mobile application. This application was tested in the pilot population and housing census in 2019 in Tokmok and Chui districts, Chui oblast, as well as in Kum-Bel aiyl aimak of Issyk-Kul district, Issyk-Kul oblast.The results of the mobile application testing showed that the quality of the received data has improved, the time for information processing has been reduced and it has become possible to identify and correct errors promptly.

Thereby, it was decided to conduct a full-scale population and housing census of the Kyrgyz Republic from 23 March to 1 April 2020, using a mobile application offline, using the mobile phone copyists.
