Dear colleagues, partners, respondents and users of official statistics!
On behalf of the National Statistical Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic let me congratulate you on the coming New 2026 Year.
The outgoing year 2025 has been an important milestone in the development of the national statistical system. It was marked by consistent modernization, digital transformation and strengthening the role of official statistics as the basis for making informed management decisions. On the eve of the 100th anniversary of the statistical authorities of Kyrgyzstan, we are not only summing up the results of a long historical journey, but also laying a solid foundation for further development.
Throughout the year, work continued on the introduction of modern digital solutions, the expansion of electronic forms of statistical reporting, and the improvement of methodologies in line with international standards and recommendations. Particular attention was paid to improving the quality, accessibility, and timeliness of statistical data, developing open data and fostering a culture of its proper use.
The National Statistical Committee provided users with a wide range of official statistical information sought after by government authorities, the scientific community, business, and society as a whole. An important area of activity in the past year remained interaction with respondents, whose contribution is a key condition for the formation of reliable and objective statistics.
I would like to express my sincere gratitude to all employees and veterans of the statistical system, as well as our international partners, for their professionalism, support, and joint efforts aimed at developing a modern and sustainable system of official statistics.
