Fourth meeting of the Republican Commission on Population and Housing Census 2020 held

On November 4 of this year, the fourth meeting of the Republican Commission on Population and Housing Census 2020 was held under the chairmanship of the First Vice Prime Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic Kubatbek Boronov.

The Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Akylbek Sultanov drew attention to the implementation of the Event Calendar Plan on Population and Housing Census. According to the Even Calendar Plan, authorized representatives of the Government of the Kyrgyz Republic in oblasts, city mayors, heads of state administrations and local self-governments should complete hanging out street names and house numbers by the end of December 2019.

Deputy Chairman of the National Statistical Committee Koshoi Isaliyev presented a brief information on the work progress for the census at the Republican Commission meeting.  He added that the upcoming census will be held in electronic format using the mobile application for the collection and processing of the received data. In addition, the participants of the meeting were informed about the planned testing of the mobile application, which will be held in November 2019 in Osh.
