Global assessment mission on the National Statistical System of the Kyrgyz Republic

The first phase of work on the Global Assessment of the National Statistical System of the Kyrgyz Republic has been completed today,  on 31 January 2020.

Based on its results, it was agreed that by the end of March 2020 the first draft report with recommendations will be submitted to the National Statistical Committee for review, comments, amendments and additions.

The time of conducting the second phase of the Global Assessment in the second half of 2020 was tentatively agreed upon, after the Population and Housing Census of the Kyrgyz Republic and the completion of the Voluntary National Report, in order to finalize the Global Assessment report based on the results of these activities

In the future, the recommendations of the Global Assessment will be taken into account by the formation of appropriate long-term strategic programs to improve and develop the National statistical system of the Kyrgyz Republic.
