The National Statistics Committee took part in the meeting of the Bishkek City Commission on Preparation and Conduct of the Population and Housing Census of 2020

The fourth meeting of the Bishkek City Commission on Preparation and Conduct of the Population and Housing Census 2020 was held in the Pervomayskiy Rayon Administration on September 27, 2019, with the participation of the Deputy Chairman of the National Statistics Committee of the Kyrgyz Republic Koshoy Isaliyev and the First Vice Mayor of Bishkek, Almaz Baketayev.

The session included a presentation on the technical aspects and methods of using the mobile application in the population census, as well as the implementation of the Calendar Plan for the implementation of measures for the population and housing census of the Kyrgyz Republic in 2020.

In the course of the session problematic issues arising in the course of implementation of separate measures on preparation of population and housing census in Bishkek city were discussed. Issues related to the provision of free travel of the census personnel in the public urban transport during the census, assigning the names and numbers of houses to the anonymous streets were also discussed.
