Excluding enterprises developing the Kumtor deposit, the volume of GDP in January-December 2020 amounted to around 530 billion soms and decreased by 9.0 percent.

The volume of industrial production in January-December 2020 amounted to more than 319 billion soms and compared with 2019 decreased by 6.6 percent due to a decrease in the production of petroleum products (by 59.3 percent), textile production, clothing and footwear production , leather and leather products (by 21.5 percent), wood and paper products, printing activities (by 13.2 percent), rubber and plastic products, other non-metallic mineral products (by 7.0 percent), food products (including drinks ) and tobacco products (by 6.6 percent), basic metals and finished metal products, except for machinery and equipment (by 4.4 percent), as well as in the extraction of minerals (by 22.4 percent).

Negative trends were observed in construction, where a decrease in volumes was 15.9 percent, wholesale and retail trade - 16.1 percent, while in agriculture threre was an increase in volumes of 1.1 percent.
In January-December 2020 (compared to December of the previous year), the increase in consumer prices in the republic as a whole amounted to 9.7 percent. At the same time, prices for food products and non-alcoholic beverages increased by 17.6 percent, alcoholic beverages and tobacco products - by 6.7 percent, tariffs for services provided to the population - by 3.0 percent, prices for non-food products - by 2 percent. 4 percent.
The maximum increase in consumer prices and tariffs in 2020 (11.8 percent) was recorded in Talas oblast, which was due to the largest increase in prices for food products and soft drinks (by 23.5 percent).
The volume of foreign and mutual trade in goods of the Kyrgyz Republic in January-November 2020 amounted to 5.1 billion US dollars and, as compared to January-November 2019, decreased by 19.2 percent, while export supplies increased by 1.7 percent. while import receipts, on the contrary, decreased by 27.3 percent.
The volume of mutual trade of the republic with the EAEU member states in January-November 2020 amounted to 2.1 billion US dollars and, compared to January-November 2019, decreased by 14.1 percent.
At the same time, export supplies decreased by 13.5 percent, and import receipts - by 14.2 percent. The largest share of the republic's mutual trade with the EAEU member states fell on Russia (64.0 percent) and Kazakhstan (34.0 percent).
