The statistical collection publishes the main indicators characterising the socio-economic situation of the country.
Sections of the compendium are arranged according to the sectors of the economy. The real sector is characterised by data on individual types of economic activity - industry, agriculture, transport, trade, and others.
Information is provided on demographic processes, employment and unemployment, living standards and quality of life, health care, culture and tourism, the environment, etc. The book also contains information on the development of regions. Some indicators of regional development are given.
